On Sabbath 31 December it was a glorious day as a church brother of ours known as Bro Kidd at Chingford SDA Church decided to give his life fully to the Lord. The baptism was at John Loughborough School performed by Pastor Eglan Brooks. It was a day of rejoicing and such a happy occasion. As we sang the hymn I surrender all it brought back memories of my own baptism 7 years ago because that was the special song that was sang back then. I remember the struggles I had even up to the day and could relate to maybe how our dear brother had been feeling also. But what sticks in my mind is the relief and joy and excitement I felt when coming out of that baptismal pool and what a celebration they must be having in heaven right now.
I want to encourage you that if you have not yet given your life fully to God do it today for tomorrow may never come and it will then be to late. It was the best decision I had ever made and if you are one making resolutions this year - make it this - that you have a closer walk with God and that this year you make the decision to be one with God.
