Lord, in every need let me come to You with humble trust saying, "Jesus, help me."
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations, Jesus, help me.
In hours of loneliness, weariness, and trials, Jesus, help me.
In the failure of my plans and hopes; in disappointments, troubles, and sorrows, Jesus, help me.
When others fail me and Your grace alone can assist me, help me.
When I throw myself on Your tender love as a father and savior, Jesus, help me.

He also said to converse with God day and night (Luke 18:7).  When He taught His disciples to pray, He told them to ask God for their daily  needs (Luke 11:3). Whatever your needs ask God today. Pray always

"Pray always;" that is, be ever in the spirit of prayer, and then you will be in readiness for your Lord's coming. Pr 29.

Earnest prayer

The victory is not won without much earnest prayer, without the humbling of self at every step. Our will is not to be forced into co-operation with divine agencies, but it must be voluntarily submitted. Pr 28.

Prayer a necessity

Daniel dared not trust to his own moral power. Prayer was to him a necessity. He made God his strength, and the fear of God was continually before him in all the transactions of his life. Pr 20.

James 5:16 says, "Pray for one another," and the context suggests this is part of group activity. So any church member could pray in a meeting. And prayer for each other was the recommended prayer.
